I am in my 40s now. The older I get, the more I am drawn to my teenage years. That is to say, the mid 90s of the last century. Sadly, I have sold most of my old toys and other stuff many years ago or trew it away. To be able to reconnect with this era, I`ve started to buy older toys and collectibles. Some of it is on display in my man cave. It brings me joy be surrounded by and to look at this stuff, even though most of it is empty.

[Adeptus Titanicus] CERASTUS KNIGHTS ACHERON & CASTIGATOR

After finishing the big Warhound, it was time to paint some smaller Knights. So I went for some Cerastus Knights from House Coldshroud.

 

Adeptus Printicus: Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan

Two months ago, I bought my first 3D printer - an Elegoo 3 Neptune Pro for about 220 Euros. Since then, I have printed many things I will show in later updates. My most recent project was a Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan.

You can find the needed STL-File for free in the internet. It took a few days to print everything and get it ready to paint. You can clearly see that it is a printed modell on closer inspection. But on the tabletop it comes close enough to the original. And to be honest, I don't really care. The old model is out of production for years now and the most recent incarnation is much too expensive (about 600 Euros!).

The warhound has been painted in the Legio Gryphonicus colour scheme, just like my loyal Adeptus Titanicus models. I hope you like it!?

I finished this Slaanesh Warlord Titan some time ago. It is not so much mutated like its little brothers. I guess it takes longer on this big fellow. The banner is printed and not a freehand.

Inauguration of the Man Cave

Today two friends came by and we played one and a half big games with Imperial Knights vs. Tyranids.

Here comes my slightly converted Slaanesh Reaver Battle Titan. I've tried countless more classic Slaanesh schemes with pink and other paints but ended up not liking the results and eventually ended up with this:

Man Cave!

After many years of waiting and having no hobby room, I eventually moved and built a man cave. It is in the basement with a small window only, but who needs daylight, right?

I have enough space to display and store my miniatures, a dedicated place to paint, a cosy couch and so on. To be able to play games, I built a moveable gaming table. I am looking forward to the first games with my friends.
