A friend of mine gave me some advertisement giveaways in the shape of pyramids. As soon as I saw them an idea come up how I could use at least one of them. I had an old wooden miniature plinth lying around and glued one of the pyramids on it. Then I used different mixtures of GW Incubi Darkness and Kabalite Green to paint it and finally put some old Necron decals on it and voilà!

ReplyDeleteVery nice! Reminds me of the brilliant terrain created by the GW studio and shown in WD, back when the very first (metal) Necrons were released! And it's such a thrifty option, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like that. Simple and effective. I'm trying to figure out how I want to paint up my "desert" themed board and I never thought of making a handful of Necron terrain pieces. Yours looks sharp with the dark Necron colors contrasted against the light sand base color.
