Order of the Sacred Rose - More Battle Sisters

I've finished these five Battle Sisters last night. I am quite satisfied, because I managed to paint them in a reasonable amount of time with comparably little effort. So you could say that I'm slowly getting the hang of painting my Sisters...

Order of the Sacred Rose - Triumph of St. Katharine - Finished!

 Aaa-nd done.

I finally did it and finished the "Triumph of St. Katharine" in the colour scheme of the Sororitas Order of the Sacred Rose. It took me much longer than expected and I wouldn't do a second one.  Nevertheless, this piece is fun to look at and maybe, just maybe I'll play with it sometimes in the future.

Here is a little glimpse of what I am working on at the moment - the kit "Triumph of St. Katharine". I have some kind of a love and hate relation with it. 😄

There are so many small details and different areas that you cannot paint quickly if you want it to look halfway appealing. I also wish that this kit was made of metal. Of course it would look different and not so filigree. This plastic one is just too fragile for my taste.

Also I have no plans to play with it. In small skirmish games, there is no place for it anyway and the transport would be a pain in the ass. But in the end it looks so cool and is such a nice display piece.
